Stepping down the stairs into the basement of the Ozaki Building brings you straight into the nostalgic, rhythmic pulse of classic soul and disco. Long embraced as a stalwart neighbourhood soul bar, BAR MIRRORBALL is the sort of place to duck into when you want to unwind to steady, vintage grooves. On Friday and Saturday nights, resident DJs step up to steer the room, making it easy to lean into the selections and call out a favourite request.
From seats at the counter or along the tables, the drink selection stretches across cocktails and hard liquor to beer, wine, and Champagne. Modest pricing makes it comfortable to settle in for a few rounds, accompanied by a modest offering of light bar snacks.
Doors open later in the evening, with hours running until 5:00 the following morning on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 2:00 on other nights. Payment is cash only, so make sure to have physical yen handy before heading down.
